On Saturday, January 20th, Heritage Park enjoyed a busy day at the NC Museum of Life and Science in Durham. Highlights included an interactive talk about snakes; viewing and learning about NC wildlife, from catfish and muskrats to black bears and red wolves; watching red ruffed lemurs jumping around and hanging upside down; catching tropical butterflies in the Magic Wings Butterfly House; exploring the Insectarium; playing drums in the outdoor playground; and checking out farm animals up close!
