I met my friend Jennifer Swartz in the summer of 2001. We were both hired by Telamon to teach English to migrant farmworkers in North Carolina (we taught at the Ceras Camp, near Willow Springs). In 2004, Jen and I had a chance to teach together again. I helped her finish out the season at David Gardner's Camp in Angier, NC. Here are some pictures of the farmworkers we taught. We had wonderful students, from all over Mexico.
